The family is represented by the Intel vPro Core I5 vPro and Intel vPro Core i7. Both processors are claimed to be able to meet the need for a computer with better performance and flexibility. AMD: The Sales of Processors are Estimated Down

Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (AMD) processor chip sales estimates in the third quarter would be lower than forecast. According to the company’s of main competitor Intel Corp., the reason for decline in sales due to falling demand for notebook computers in Europe and North America.

AMD predicts, sales will decline between 1 to 4 percent of total sales in the second quarter reached 1.65 billion U.S. dollars. The decline prediction was carried out shortly after Intel announced a similar prediction. Outlook also shows the performance of other chipmakers, including Texas instruments Inc..

According to Hans Mosesmann, an analyst at Raymond James & Associates, currently AMD does not go into business servers and machines. As a result, AMD can not offset the decline in sales as consumer spending is tightened.
