August 2010, Internet Explorer Market Share Fell Down

Internet Explorer 8 browser market continues to decline for the month of August. Even users of Internet Explorer are also declining overall. The use of IE8 decreased approximately 1.3 percent from July, which is still around 27.9 percent in the browser market. However the use of IE overall also declined 0.34 percent from 60.4 percent in July. Firefox 6.3 is behind IE8 with 16.8 percent rate, up from July to third place with 16.15 percent rate. However Firefox is also located at number two with number of dominance for 22.93 percent of the browser market. IE6 market share, while IE7 is still 16.18 percent with 10.89 percent for the rations on the market. This left them in third and fourth places. While residing in the top five positions are Google Chrome 5.0 with 6.77 percent rate, up from 6.48 percent previously, in July. Although IE6 decreased quite large but have Microsoft say that they are delighted about the results. China and some other developing countries are still using IE6 browser, which is almost 10-year-old. Meanwhile, Microsoft will launch Internet Explorer 9 on the 15th September.
